Knapheide Fixed Side Dump Bodies feature double panel, high-strength steel construction on the sides and tailgate, in addition to a seven-gauge HRCQ steel floor. Utilize the double-acting sub frame hoist for effortless dumping and bulk material spreading applications. Numerous options including underbody toolboxes and packs for secure storage, quarter or full cab shields for protection, manual or electric tarps for retaining material and many others are available to increase the functionality and productivity of your next dump body.

Fixed Side Dump Body
Features
Cab Protector
Quarter cab protector constructed of 10 gauge high tensile steel with a punched window for improved operator visibility. Quarter cab protector in straight or tapered style, full cab protector available for full cab protection.
E-Coat Immersion
Knapheide Bodies are fully immersed in Knapheide's 12-step, electrodeposition prime paint system for superior corrosion resistance.
Floor
Floor is constructed of two-piece, 7 gauge HRCQ steel with a full seam weld down the center.
Double-Acting Tailgate
Versatile, double-acting tailgate in order to accommodate both spreader dumping applications and drop down pick-up style dumping applications. Constructed with 12 gauge HY50 outer panel and 10 gauge HY50 inner panel. Tailgate features a one-handed quick release lever for easy drop-down action.
Side Board Pockets
2x6 side board pockets on the sides at the front and rear allow for increased load capacity when utilizing cheater boards.
Tarp Hook
Rear corner posts equipped with a hook on each side to accept an optional tarp.
Toe Saver Bracket
Toe saver brackets located on both sides of the end rail for operator safety.
Side Construction
Sides are constructed of rugged 12 gauge high tensile steel for durability.
Sloped Rails
Sides and tailgate feature self-cleaning sloped top rails and lower rails for dirt shedding.
Undercoat
Under side of body receives additional corrosion protection with Knapheide's water-based undercoat.
