Compatible with tandem axle chassis, KWT4 Water Trucks are ideal for many different applications including dust control and delivery. Knapheide Water Trucks employ a cross baffle to prevent sloshing during transport. Sight gauges enable the operator to easily view water levels without having to climb onto the top of the tank. Features
Tank Construction
The shell, ends, and baffles of the tank are constructed of rugged 3/16" ASTM-A-36 steel.
Manway
24-inch diameter manway with 2-inch thick ring for entry access into tank for interior inspection, maintenance, sampling and more.
Spray Heads
Five air-operated spray heads, with two placed on both the front and rear of the vehicle and one placed on the street side, activated by convenient in-cab controls.
Rear Ladder
Located on the rear end of the tank to provide easy access to hydrant fill pipe and manway.
Manual Rewind Hose Reel
50-foot long by 1.5-inch thick water hose and adjustable fog nozzle with reel that allows manual rewinding into rear storage compartment. Alternative hose and reel systems available upon request.
Lights and Reflectors
These DOT compliant tail lights and reflectors are encased in wire loom for protection of electrical components.
Rear Push Bumper
Rear push bumper, with integrated open top storage box, for better protection in the event of rear impacts.
